Special Event Days
In addition to our daily schedule of fun filled activities each session will have special event days throughout the week.
Session 1:
4th of July Day - Let's get together to celebrate our country's independence! We will be playing flag tag, dress the patriot, and other patriotic activities! Be sure to stop by the 4th of July photo booth and pose like Uncle Sam!
Session 2:
Make Your Own Sundae Day - What do you like on your ice cream? Do you like to keep it simple with ice cream hot fudge and sprinkles? Or do you get a little crazy with your toppings? We want to see all the unique recipes you put together when you make your own sundae!
Mystery Day - Calling all detectives, there is a camp wide mystery and we need your help! Come spend the day finding hints, decoding clues, and solving the mystery. Do you have what it takes to be the next private eye?
Session 3:
Wet & Wild Day - Welcome to Water World! Wear your swimsuits and be prepared to get soaked! Water bucket brigade, rubber duck races and slip and slide are just a taste of what to expect in this wildly wet, water-filled day!
Medieval Times Day - What say you come in and explore the days of a goodly length in times past? Dress up as knights and dames and venture to the fair for today we will play jingling, hoodman's blind, and learn to make a mobile king cake! How will you do in the jousting competition?
Session 4:
Crazy Hat Day - Time to get creative. Today you will get to show off your craziest hat. Bring one from home or make your own. We want to see it. The craziest hats will receive a prize!
Color Day - It’s Red vs. Blue as the camp breaks off into 2 teams for a day of fun competitions. Children will participate in obstacle courses, water races, team cheer competitions and much more to try and earn points for their team. Who will be the 2014 Color Day Champion?
Session 5:
Summer St. Paddy's Day - It's all about the green today! Go-green and help the environment, test your "leprechaun luck" and explore some green science. Will you be the camper that finds the pot of gold?
Circus Day - Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, children of all ages, step right up for the greatest show on Earth! Everyone loves the circus and on this day you will get participate in juggling lessons, face painting, balloon twisting and even eat some popular circus treats!
Session 6:
Native American Day - Join in with your group as you enter the tribe competition. Compete in the archery contest and learn about Native American symbols. We hope to see all campers at the powwow for some traditional Native American dancing!
Mighty Messy Day - Wear some old clothes and get ready to dive on in to this all out messy day. Shaving cream sponge tag, a hands free pie eating contest, and a camp wide color explosion will all show you just how fun it can be to get dirty!
Session 7:
Asian Culture Day - Explore the world of Asian culture. On this day, campers will participate in a tea ceremony, learn to use chopsticks, make a “Buddha Board” and see examples of traditional dress.
Let it Snow Day - Stay cool this summer as we celebrate a snow day in the summer! Campers will enjoy some Disney's Frozen karaoke, build a gingerbread house, play snowball toss and even figure out how to make a summer snow man!
Session 8:
Tie-Dye Day - There is so much you can do with Tie Dye. Today you will learn different techniques and styles as you tie dye things you bring from home. Bring items like white t-shirts, socks, and hats and tie dye them into crazy colors!
InspireWorks Got Talent - It’s the end of the summer and we want to see what you got. All week groups will work on a fun and creative routine designed by their counselor to perform in front of the camp. Parents are welcome to stop by and see the performances. It should be a day of fun, crazy and unique experiences.
