Counselor in Training Program: The Counselor in Training (CIT) program provides training in leadership skills through a summer work experience under the guidance and supervision of a senior staff member. CIT's spend time with campers in order to gain valuable hands-on experience assisting the staff in many areas of the camp program. Students with leadership experience, enthusiasm for working with children and a love of summer camp are encouraged to apply.
While many other summer camps charge regular or discounted camp tuition to participate in the CIT program, InspireWorks Enrichment offers this volunteer experience free-of-charge. As such, this is a competitive program and not all applicants will be accepted. s
Applicants must be entering grades 8 or above in the fall and be available for at least 1 four week session. Applicants who are available for both sessions, who have experience with children and/or InspireWorks Enrichment programs will be given preference.
For more information and to apply for a CIT position please download the - Counselor in Training Application (PDF)
